d. Remarks about the event:
i) What I liked:
“Better understanding of liberation theology”
“A different way of looking at poor, poverty”
“Interesting presentation”
“Good flow”
“Everything”
“Nice mix of background & forward looking”
“Great snacks & location”
“Interesting, thoughtful”
“Video, presentation was effective”
“Learned much of the presenter’s mission”
Impressed overall by the speaker (“passionate,
delightful presentation,” “Her unique experience
of working with Guitterez (sp)? & base communities,”
“liked the personal angle,” “ She posed very good questions”)

ii) What could have been better:
(Should have) more people
This was a particularly Catholic perspective rather than a Christian perspective
(Should have) better chairs
Would like copy of tonight’s prayer printed
Note: Patricia did make copies available to audience
More meaning of Religion
The opening(s) were still long
The conclusion remarks … better to just end with prayer
Would like the presenter to make comparisons – not to show differences, but to show how various religions have similar visions and directives of interaction with those who have less – materially or spiritually

e. Furthermore:
i) Further questions:
Ways to help children to understand social justice/restorative justice
More examples of how to change our world
The growing underclass in North America
Women roles, homosexuals’ roles in various religions
Religions unity
More on the presented religion information
Questions of actions & what we do – how to work together

ii) What should UNIITE address next?
Connections – more on Social Justice
How we can work together better
Atheism/Voodoo
How religion’s histories are alike & how they differ
How all can be respectful of each other
